Monier Limited the single largest producer, supplier and distributor of construction materials and building products in PNG, currently is seeking to recruit suitably qualified and highly motivated individual for this position:

Precast Manager

The Precast Manager is responsible for managing the Precast Plant, ensuring all the Precast products produced conformed to the specifications or produced in accordance to the relevant standard as of Australian/New Zealand standard.

Duties Include:

• Oversees mould preparation, reinforcement placement, concrete pouring, curing and product finishing.
• Review, visualize and interpret engineering drawings, shop drawings, construction specifications and technical documentation, while ensuring accurate production and installation upon client product requests.
• Implementing quality control procedures, conduct inspections, monitoring concrete strength and curing requirements, while ensuring compliance with project specifications and industry standards.
• Scheduling production activities, managing labor and equipment resources, and coordinating material requirements to meet project deadlines
• Coordinating transport, lifting, and installation of precast elements while ensuring alignment between production schedules and site requirements.

Qualifications & Experience Required:

• Possess Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related field of engineering.
• Extensive knowledge of Precast manufacturing processes, including mould preparation, reinforcement placement, concrete pouring, curing and product finishing.
• Experience of 5 plus years in senior to management role in similar setting.
• Excellent experience and knowledge in Quality Assurance procedures and
• Strong understanding of workplace safety regulations, hazard identification, risk assessments, lifting operations, and safe work practices within precast manufacturing
• Possess strong leadership qualities with excellent oral and written communication skills.
