Quality Assurance Team Leader

The Institute of Business Studies (IBS), from its’ humble beginning in 1987 as an arm of Nades & Associates primarily providing revision classes for the needs of Papua New Guinea Institute of Accountants (now CPA PNG), has evolved into a private University level Institution over the last 38 years. Today we are one of the largest business schools in the country and off degree programmes in the fields of Accounting & Finance, Business & Management, Economics & Development Studies and Information Technology. Primary Responsibility

• Managing a team of QA Officers and Analysts, coordinating testing activities across projects, liaising with other departments, providing technical guidance, and ensuring quality standards are met.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day work of Level 3 and Level 4 staff (Officers and Analysts).
• Coordinate the execution of internal audits, operational reviews, and compliance checks.
• Ensure the team follows the established QA framework and standards.
• Contribute to the compilation of Quality Assurance reports.

Qualifications

A degree or equivalent in the relevant discipline.

• Professional Qualification (Or reaching the final level) in Accounting, Auditing, Risk Management, Compliance, or any other relevant field.
• Two to Three Years' Experience in Risk Management, Auditing, Compliance, Education Administration, or any similar relevant field.

Career Progression

• Upward movement to Quality Assurance Manager (Level 1) shall take place after 4-6 years of experience, with a proven track record of leadership and successful project delivery.
