KutMor Limited is a nationally owned landowner company that services the Oil & Gas Industry in the Kutubu and Moran areas in the Southern Highlands Province of Papua New Guinea.

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced candidate for the following role. This is a Port Moresby based role.

Quality Management Systems (QMS) Officer

Job Summary

The purpose of the Quality Management Systems Officer Position is to assist the HSES&Q Coordinator in ensuring that KutMor’s quality management system is effectively implemented and maintained. The QMS Officer will play a crucial role in QMS documentation, identifying areas for improvement, implementing corrective actions, and promoting a culture of quality within the organisation. Ultimately, the QMS Officer will assist to ensure that KutMor consistently delivers high-quality services to its clients, through meeting quality standards and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibility Areas

• Develop, implement, and maintain KutMor’s quality management system.
• Ensure compliance with relevant standards.
• Conduct internal audits. Identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
• Assist train KutMor staff on quality procedures.
• Promote a culture of quality within the organization.
• Assist all QMS process owners in their roles with data entry, data analysis, research and producing process and system documentation, and reports.
• Maintain and retain documents and records relevant to the operation of the company.
• Submit of Daily, Weekly and Monthly Accomplishment Reports
• Provide support in overseeing the processes and procedures that are in place to ensure products or services meet quality standards and regulatory requirements.
• Ensure that KutMor consistently delivers high-quality products or services to its customers.

Qualifications, Skills, and Experiences

• Minimum Diploma or Certification in a relevant field such as quality management, engineering, or a related field
• ISO Auditor Certification is a bonus.
• Knowledge in ISO 9001: 2015 Standard reviewing ISO documents.
• Knowledge of quality management principles.
• Strong attention to detail
• Strong analytical skills
• Effective Communication (oral and written) skills and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in computer-based applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to work under pressure and minimum supervision.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Data Management and filing skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information.
• Flexible and able to work in a dynamic environment.
• 1-2 years’ experience in a similar role
• Experience in a position involving function with focus on organisational development, system improvements, monitoring and evaluation is a plus.
