About the Role The organisation is currently seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join its property division. This role presents an exciting opportunity for a motivated and detail-oriented professional to contribute to a variety of commercial and civil infrastructure projects. The successful candidate will be involved in cost estimation, contract administration, tender preparation, and financial reporting, all within a collaborative and supportive project team environment. Key Responsibilities
Prepare project cost estimates at various design stages (feasibility, concept, developed design, construction)
Prepare tender documentation, including complete Bills of Quantities and specifications
Preparation and administration of consulting, supply and Construction Contracts.
Review and recommend variations, extension of time claims, and contract-related matters
Maintain a database of building costs and historical data
Develop and update project programs in Gantt formats
Monitor statutory requirements, including building board applications
Ensure HSE compliance and maintain detailed site progress records
Attend meetings and conduct regular site visits to track project progress
Requirements of the Role
Degree in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management or related field
Over 3 years’ experience in a similar role, preferably in building and civil works
Strong understanding of project costing, BOQ preparation, and contract administration
Proficient in MS Excel, project scheduling software and quantity surveying tools
Strong communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Team player with high attention to detail and commitment to quality
