Receptionist & Showroom Assistant Wanted!

We are a local company with a big vision and are looking for someone with equal values to join our team.

As a result of our growing business, we have a diverse range of projects we are working on, one of which needs someone with a creative flair, a go-getter approach and a passion to make change happen to take on the project management and production management for our mission to empower women and youths in Papua New Guinea.

Job Description:

The ideal candidate will be based at our Napanapa Factory and will be responsible for greeting and assisting customers, management of the front desk (handling phone calls, emails and general enquiries). You will also be responsible for promotion products, identifying new sales opportunities, maintaining client responsibilities and helping the team to achieve sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet & assist customers
  • Manage the Front Desk (phone calls, emails, general enquiries)
  • Maintain showroom tidiness & display
  • Support sales/staff with showroom tasks
  • Handle basic admin duties (filing, data entry)
  • Dealing with customer exchanges or returns
  • Restock of shelves with merchandise
  • Reporting discrepancies and problems to the supervisor
  • Provide feedback on customer trends and product needs

  • Customer-focused mindset
  • Knowledgeable in time management
  • Adaptable, resilient, and able to work under tight deadlines.
  • Flexibility to work overtime

  • Diplomacy, reliability and the ability to multi-task
  • Fluent in Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook

Qualifications & Experience:

  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience in sales or customer service is essential, with a proven track record of meeting sales targets preferably in the tailoring and retail background.
  • Preferably bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or any related filed.
