Position

We’re seeking to recruit a results-driven professional for the position of Sales & Marketing Officer based in Port Moresby.

The Sales and Marketing Officer is the first point of contact for all sales & marketing related matters and is responsible for attending to customers/clients’ queries, purchase of products items, compiling customers & clients quotations to order, receipting, invoicing and delivery dockets for delivering customers/clients orders.

Key Responsibilities

Proactively Promote Product

• Identify and target potential clients including contractors, builders, developers, architects, and government agencies for concrete batching, bricks sales, aggregates sales and diorites (select –fill)

Generate Leads & Close Deals

• Market research to identify new sales opportunities and build sales pipeline.
• Prepare and deliver compelling quotes to walk-in clients and long-term clients.
• Pitching sales & marketing for quotations and proposal to secure contracts on large and medium projects.

Manage Sales Cycle

• Negotiate contracts, prepare sales agreements, and manage the entire process from prospecting to closing deals and ensure profitable margin.

Develop & Maintain Relationships

• Build and sustain strong, long-term relationships with portfolio of existing and new clients.
• Serve as a main point of contact for construction material needs.
• Attend to Customers/Clients queries or purchase products items.

Provide Technical Support

• Offer expert advice on Products specifications, applications, and benefit to assist clients in selecting the right solution for their project.
• Coordinate with the Batching Plant team for customers/Clients orders.

Qualifications & Experiences

• Diploma in Sales & Marketing or Diploma in Business Studies
• Grade 12 Certificate – PNG Paradise Collage, Port Moresby.

• 3 - 5 years’ Experience in Purchasing/Sales Department.
