Job Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Sales Representative to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for sales and a strong understanding of the FMCG market. You will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with clients, promoting our product range, and driving sales growth in the Port Moresby area.

Key Responsibilities

Reporting to the POM Sales Manager, the successful incumbent will be responsible for the following:

• Generating leads and meeting or exceeding sales goals.
• Meet or exceed set sales targets and contribute to overall team performance.
• Deliver compelling product presentations and demonstrations that highlight the benefits and features to potential clients.
• Keep management informed by submitting activity and results reports including sales forecast and weekly, monthly and annual territory analyses.
• Keep an eye on the competition by gathering and analyzing current marketplace information regarding pricing, products, delivery schedules, and merchandising techniques.
• Coordinating sales efforts with marketing programs.
• Visiting clients and potential clients to evaluate needs or promote products and services.
• Address client questions regarding credit terms, products, pricing, and availability promptly and professionally.

Requirements:

• Diploma/Certificate in business, marketing, economics, or related field.
• Proven work experience in Sales preferable with FMCG sector
• Understanding of the sales process and dynamics.
• A commitment to excellent customer service.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to quickly build rapport with both customers and suppliers.
• Must have a valid driver's license
