Senior Accountant – Port Moresby

Lead Financial Reporting, Compliance, and Business Performance

KutMor Limited is a nationally owned landowner company providing services to Papua New Guinea's Oil & Gas industry, primarily in the Kutubu and Moran project areas.

KutMor is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to lead financial reporting, compliance, budgeting and business performance activities across the organisation.

Position reports to the KutMor Finance Manager

Key Responsibilities:

• Financial reporting (monthly, quarterly, annual)
• Maintain financial records and reconcile general ledger accounts.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
• Ensure compliance with tax, statutory, and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate external audits and support audit processes.
• Internal controls and process improvement
• Provide financial analysis and recommendations to management.
• Mentor and support junior finance team members.

Essential Requirements

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce.
• CPA/CA highly preferred.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in a senior accounting role.
• IRS Audit experience
• Advanced Excel and accounting systems (MYOB preferred).
