SENIOR ANALYST – LICENSING & INCUBATION UNIT, FINANCIAL SYSTEM DEVELOPMENT & INNOVATION POLICY DEPARTMENT

Reports To: Manager – Licensing & Incubation Unit, FSDIPD

The primary role of the Senior Analyst, Licensing and Incubation Unit, is to support the Unit Manager in the development, implementation, and management of licensing frameworks and incubation programs. The Senior Analyst will conduct in-depth analysis, research, and due diligence on potential licensees and incubates, providing recommendations to the Unit Manager. The role also includes mentoring junior analysts and contributing to stakeholder engagement activities. The Senior Analyst is accountable to the Unit Manager, LAIU.

Education/Qualification/Experience/Skills/Competencies

• Bachelor’s Degree in Law, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or related fields. A master’s degree would be an advantage.
• Five plus years’ experience in the financial services industry, preferably with exposure to licensing, business incubation, FinTech, or related areas.
• Strong understanding of financial sector development and innovation.
• Familiarity with FinTech, digital financial services, and innovative financial products and services.
• Experience in conducting financial analysis and due diligence.
• Excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
