Job Description:

PNG Property Advisory is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Grounds Person to maintain the grounds of 3 Residential Apartment Compounds, including expansive lawns and gardens. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the grounds are well-maintained, aesthetically pleasing, and safe for residents and visitors.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform regular lawn maintenance, including mowing, edging, fertilizing, and weed control.
  • Maintain gardens, including planting, pruning, watering, and pest control.
  • Ensure the grounds are free of debris and hazards.
  • Maintain and repair grounds equipment.
  • Manage irrigation systems.
  • Supervise and train junior grounds staff.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
  • Report any maintenance issues or safety concerns to management.
  • Assist with other maintenance tasks as needed.
  • Oversee attendance and delegate tasks to the grounds team.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in grounds maintenance, preferably in a residential or commercial setting.
  • Extensive knowledge of lawn care, gardening, and irrigation systems.
  • Ability to operate and maintain grounds equipment.
  • Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Physical ability to perform the required tasks.
  • Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices.
