We are partnering with a leading national airline in Papua New Guinea provides domestic and international passenger and cargo services across the region. It plays a critical role in connecting major cities and remote communities, as well as linking the country to key international destinations in Asia, Australia, and the Pacific.


The Role

Join the team in Port Moresby as the Senior Manager – Financial Reporting, leading the delivery of accurate and timely financial reporting across month-end close, statutory accounts, balance sheet integrity, and management reporting, fully aligned with IFRS standards.

Working closely with Finance leadership and external stakeholders including auditors and lenders, the role strengthens financial governance, supports complex aircraft financing and leasing activities, and enhances reporting processes while driving better use of Oracle Fusion across the business.


Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end financial reporting, month-end close, and statutory reporting to ensure timely and accurate financial results.
• Ensure IFRS compliance and provide technical accounting leadership across complex transactions, leases, financing, and revenue recognition.
• Deliver insightful management reporting and analysis on revenue, costs, profitability, and cash flow performance.
• Strengthen financial controls, balance sheet governance, audit readiness, and stakeholder reporting.
• Drive reporting transformation, process automation, Oracle Fusion optimisation, and development of the Financial Reporting team.

Key Criteria

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or Commerce
• CPA, CA, or ACCA (mandatory)
• 10–12 years’ finance experience, including 5+ years in financial reporting leadership roles
• Strong IFRS and technical accounting expertise & Oracle Fusion ERP or similar systems
• Airline or complex asset-intensive industry experience preferred
• Experience in aircraft leasing, financing, or capital-intensive environments highly desirable
