About the Role
As the Senior Logistics Manager, you will provide strategic leadership and operational oversight to support the organisation’s objectives. Reporting directly to the COO, you will be responsible for the efficient procurement, storage and distribution of goods, while also overseeing travel and fleet operations.
This is a senior role requiring a balance of strategic thinking and hands-on execution. You will play a key role in strengthening logistics capability, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring all operations are cost-effective and compliant with relevant regulations.
Key Responsibilities - Develop and implement supply chain strategies, processes and procedures aligned with organisational goals
- Lead procurement activities, ensuring ethical sourcing and maintaining strong supplier relationships
- Oversee storage and distribution, ensuring accurate inventory management and stock control
- Manage the safe and efficient transport of personnel and assets, including fleet operations
- Oversee travel arrangements to support staff movement across both remote and urban locations
- Lead, mentor and develop a team of four direct reports, fostering a culture of continuous improvement
- Ensure all activities comply with safety, environmental and regulatory requirements
Qualifications, Skills & Experience - Minimum of 8–10 years’ experience in supply chain, logistics or operations, including at least 5 years in a senior leadership role
- Proven experience across procurement, warehousing and transport; experience in remote site or hub environments is highly regarded
- Strong understanding of procurement systems and logistics tracking tools; proficient in Microsoft Office
- High integrity, strong commercial acumen, and the ability to operate effectively in complex and culturally diverse environments
- Excellent stakeholder engagement, coordination and planning skills
