The company provides the following products and services: Personal Loans, Financial Guarantee, SME Financing, Foreign Exchange, Asset Finance Loan Against Property & Term Deposits.

We are currently seeking a dynamic and Senior Marketing and Branding Officer to join our team help us build our brand and raise brand awareness.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Based in the Marketing & Branding Department within the Head Office, Port Moresby, the Senior Marketing and Branding Officer performs key duties to drive the development and implementation of marketing and branding initiatives that enhance the company’s visibility, reputation, and market presence through the online, digital and social media platform. This role ensures brand consistency, well coordinated campaigns, and effective engagement across online, website, digital, and social media platforms to support business growth.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage the organisation’s social media and online presence by publishing content, monitor engagement, track performance metrics, and recommending improvements.
• Ensure there is a consistent application of brand guidelines across all communications, internal or external.
• Support the development and maintenance of branding materials including logos, templates, and promotional assets.
• Create and edit marketing content including social media posts, website updates, newsletters, and promotional materials.
• Conduct market research to identify trends, customer preferences, and competitor activities.
• Analyse data and provide insights to support marketing strategies and decision-making.
• Assist in organising corporate events, product launches, and promotional activities.
• Support the Coordination of logistics, branding, and communication for events.
• Collaborate with internal departments to support marketing and communication needs.
• Liaise with external vendors, agencies, and media partners as required.
• Prepare regular reports on marketing activities, campaign performance, and brand metrics.

REQUIREMENTS

• A tertiary qualification in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field.
• At least 3-5 years’ experience in marketing, branding, or communications-oriented roles.
• 1-2 years’ experience in website management and digital platforms is an added advantage.
• Familiarity with applying branding principles and campaign execution.
• Experience using design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Suite) is an advantage.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to analyse marketing data and generate insights and recommendations.
• Proven organisation and project management abilities.
• Attention to detail and brand consistency.
• Proven creativity and content development skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and digital marketing platforms.
