About the Role:

We’re on the hunt for a highly experienced and motivated Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team in Port Moresby. You are required to be able to work independently and take full ownership of the deadlines and quality of the deliverables. This is an opportunity to bring your expertise to some of the Pacific’s most exciting projects while working alongside a team that values your ideas and contributions.

In this role, you will do more than crunch numbers. You will provide strategic insight, technical excellence, and trusted advice that ensures our projects are delivered with precision, efficiency, and impact.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leading project cost management by providing:
• Life Cycle Costing
• Cashflow preparation
• Detailed material take-offs
• Bills of Quantities
• Tender review, analysis, and recommendations
• Variation measurement and assessments
• Contractor progress claim assessments
• Project cost analysis and input into cost data bases
• Ensuring every detail aligns with AS/NZS standards and local regulations.
• Collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams and clients to deliver results that matter.

Qualifications & Experience:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, Management, or a related discipline.
• At least 10 years’ experience as a Quantity Surveyor in Pacific countries, with proven technical competency and references.
• Strong understanding of the local standards and construction market to provide QS services complying with AS/NZS.
• Membership of the Australian Institute of Quantity Surveyors (or similar professional body) is highly desirable.
