About the role:

We currently have an excellent opportunity for a Service Supervisor to join our Service Department team based in Lae.

This role primarily exists to provide professional team supervision and leadership to the Service Team under his/her supervision. This is achieved by instilling the values of Safety, Productivity and Quality in the team to ensure that our customers receive the best quality product that our brand stands for and customers rightfully expect.

Reporting to the Service Manager, your competencies and experience will include:

• Ensure safety goals are achieved through personal commitment, no harm to self or others and participation in safety initiatives.
• Ensure customer expectations and service standards are understood and delivered within agreed timeframes.
• Required to ensure compliance with Workplace Health and Safety (WH&S) Legislation and company policies.
• Responsible for ensuring the weekly departmental meetings are conducted effectively and actionable items are to be followed up upon Work in Progress (WIP), Service Coordinator/Service Advisor Work Scheduling.
• Determines manpower and equipment requirements, recommends changes in organisation, develops process and procedures within the Service Department and ensures that work is performed correctly and efficiently.
• Responsible for monitoring all work orders for quality and efficiency in conjunction with the Service Coordinator/Advisor and Leading Hands.

About You:

You will bring the following skills and experience to the role:

Essential

• Heavy Equipment Fitter trade qualification
• Previous experience in a similar role
• Previous experience working with Caterpillar parts and products.
• Excellent computer knowledge, working with Microsoft Office
• PNG Driver’s License Class 3 or 6
