SIDE LIFT DRIVERS / OPERATORS

We are seeking experienced and safety-conscious Side Lift Drivers/Operators to join our operations team. This role is responsible for the safe and efficient collection, transportation, loading, and unloading of containers using side-lift-equipped vehicles while maintaining high standards of customer service and workplace safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate side lift trucks and associated equipment safely and efficiently.
• Conduct pre-start inspections and daily vehicle safety checks.
• Collect, transport, and dispose of waste/recyclable materials in accordance with operational procedures.
• Ensure loads are secured and transported safely.
• Maintain accurate records, logbooks, and required documentation.
• Report vehicle defects, incidents, hazards, and maintenance requirements promptly.
• Comply with all company policies, road transport regulations, and safety procedures.
• Deliver professional and courteous service to customers and the public.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid Heavy Vehicle PNG Driver's Licences (HR, HC, or equivalent).
• Proven experience operating side lift trucks or similar heavy equipment.
• Strong understanding of road safety and vehicle operating procedures.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently and follow instructions.
• Commitment to workplace health, safety, and environmental standards.
• Ability to pass pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening (if required).
