We currently have an immediate vacancy for a Site Nurse to join our already strong and vibrant Safety, Health and Environment (SHE) team in Lae. This role is responsible for promoting employee health, managing workplace injury and illnesses, and supporting the company's occupational health and safety programs.

Key Roles and Responsilibilites

1. Clinical Operations & Medical Care

• Manage the on-site company clinic on a daily basis.
• Provide first aid and attend to medical emergencies for staff.
• Administer primary medical care for minor workplace injuries, cuts, burns, or illnesses.

2. Occupational Health & Safety

• Assist SHE Manager in compiling statistics on Lost Time Injuries (LTI), accidents, and incidents.
• Ensure the workplace complies with PNG occupational health and standards.
• Conduct regular medical health and awareness talks with the safety team per the NDoH calender.

3. Administration & Stock Management

• Maintain accurate, confidential employee medical records and health histories.
• Monitor and ensure adequate supplies of first-aid materials.
• Compile and submit routine incidnet and health reports to management.

To be considered for the role, you will need to have:

• Education: Degree or Diploma in Nursing, and must hold current registration with the PNG Nursing Council.
• Experience: 3+ Years of clinical or occupational health nursing experience. Previous exposure to an industrial , manufacturing, or FMCG setting is a strong advantage.
• Skills: Excellent communication, self-motivation, and the ability to work independently or make quick decisions during emergencies.
