Standards & Compliance Manager - Maritime

P&O Maritime Services are seeking an energetic and highly motivated expert in ISO 45001, 14001 and 9001 with a thorough working knowledge of ISM, Flag, Class, SOLAS, IMO and MLC 2006 compliance to join our team based in Motukea Island.

We are looking for individuals who have:

• Unlimited Chief Engineer or Master Certificate of Competency with substantial experience in shore-based fleet management
• Experience of at least 3 -5 years in the management of small bulk carriers and oil tankers or equivalent fleet, including areas of technical, human resources, industrial, budget development and control, operations, and compliance
• Demonstrated knowledge of Quality and Safety Management systems, particularly those related to the shipping industry (ISM).
• ISM Auditor accreditation (ISM/ISO/ISPS Auditor preferred)
• Demonstrated experience in developing and managing planned maintenance systems
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant software applications
• Well-developed leadership and management skills
• High level analytical and problem-solving skills
• High level communication and interpersonal skills including report writing
• Effective time management and organisational skills
• Able to work under pressure and respond to changing work demands
• Positive can do attitude and excellent attendance record are essential.
