Supply & Logistics Manager to join a leading global player in the
Energy sector within Papua New Guinea. This is a pivotal leadership role where you will directly impact the efficiency, safety, and profitability of a large-scale operation handling critical fuel and lubricant resources.

Key Responsibilities In this role, you will oversee the full spectrum of the supply chain, from sourcing to final delivery. Your core focus will include:
- Strategic Supply Chain Management: Oversee sourcing, procurement, demand planning, and the distribution of fuel, lubricants, and engineering materials.
- Inventory & Asset Control: Manage all operations stock and assets within SAP to ensure 100% accuracy through regular audits and stock takes.
- Contractor Management: Oversee 3rd-party warehouse and transport contracts, ensuring all service providers meet stringent operational standards.
- Operational Excellence: Schedule and lead quarterly performance reviews and annual contract audits with service providers to ensure top-tier service levels.
- Financial Oversight: Facilitate monthly stock committee meetings and execute reconciliation processes to safeguard company assets.
- Transport Optimization: Plan and monitor product deliveries while updating freight rates and facilitating the vetting of chartered barges.
- Safety Leadership: Champion a "Safety First" culture by ensuring all contractors comply with strict HSEQ policies and participate in weekly toolbox meetings.
Key Requirements We are looking for a seasoned professional who brings a blend of technical expertise and leadership experience:
- Degree in Business, Science, Engineering or related fields
- 10+ years of experience in Planning and Supply, with at least 7+ years specifically in logistics or supply chain planning.
- Strong working knowledge of ERP systems (preferably SAP) and advanced proficiency in MS Excel and demand planning tools.
- While not mandatory, a background in fuel supply, lubrication, or transportation is highly favorable.
- Demonstrated ability to influence, convince, and negotiate within a competitive market environment.
- Excellent organizational and analytical skills to provide statistical analysis on transport optimization and forecasting.
- Familiarity with Dangerous Goods Handling (certification is a plus) and a deep commitment to HSEQ laws and regulations.
