Position Overview:
The Technical Supervisor at Trophy Haus is a specialized role combining technical expertise with team leadership. This position requires mastery of engraving equipment, heat press, and sublimation machinery, along with strong design capabilities and customer service excellence. The ideal candidate will support the Technical Manager to manage production workflows, oversee bulk orders, and lead a technical team to deliver exceptional personalized products.
Key Responsibilities:
Technical Operation Management
- Operate and maintain engravement machine, heat press, and sublimation equipment to the highest standards.
- Execute restringing jobs with precision and quality craft man ship.
- Create and modify designs using Adobe Illustrator and other design software.
- Ensure all equipment is properly calibrated, maintained, and operating efficiently.
- Implement quality control procedures for all technical production work.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and coordinate equipment repairs when necessary.
Customer Services & Order Manager
- Provide exceptional customer service throughout the production process.
- Consult with customers on design options, materials and production timelines.
- Manage bulk orders from initial consultation through final delivery.
- Coordinate with customers to ensure specifications are accurately captured.
- Resolve customer concerns and technical issues promptly and professionally.
- Maintain clear communication regarding orders status and delivery schedules.
Team Leadership & Development
- Lead, coach and develop technical production team members.
- Assign tasks and coordinate workflow to meet production deadlines.
- Train staff on equipment operation, safety protocols and quality standards.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
- Organize and lead team meetings to discuss production goals and challenges.
- Foster a collaborative and productive work environment.
Sales & Business Development
- Attain or exceed monthly and annual sales targets.
- Monitor daily sales actively and maintain accurate sales records.
- Identify opportunities for upselling and expanding service offerings.
- Develop pricing strategies for custom and bulk orders.
- Build and maintain relationships with corporate and institutional clients.
- Provide product feedback and recommendations for inventory management.
Qualification & Skills:
Technical Expertise
- Minimum 2-3 years of hands-on experience with engraving machinery and techniques or a similar role.
- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Business Management, Graphic Designing, Visual Arts or related filed is an advantage but not required.
- Strong proficient in Adobe Illustrator and design software.
- Expertise in heat press operations for various materials.
- Knowledge of sublimation printing processes and applications.
- Experience with restringing for sports equipment and rackets.
- Understanding of materials, substrates and production methods.
