Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Tiler to join our team. The ideal

candidate will be responsible for preparing surface for installing tiles, maintaining, and ensuring a smooth, polish finish. The candidate should have knowledge of tiling experience in ceramic, wall and floor tiling, excellent troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities:

• Planning and Preparation: Inspect surfaces, take measurements, assess condition, plan tile layout, calculate materials, and estimate costs.
• Surface Preparation: Level floors or walls using mortar, plywood, or tile backer boards; repair damaged surfaces and ensure stability.
• Tile Installation: Apply adhesives or mortar, position tiles according to layout, cut tiles to fit edges and corners using tile cutters or wet saws, and maintain even spacing with spacers.
• Finishing: Apply grout between tiles, clean excess grout, and ensure a smooth, polished finish.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Tiler. (Attained Reference, Certificate, etc...)
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and diagrams and apply mathematical and measurement skills
• Ability to use tile cutters and other tools of the trade
• Ability to lift heavy equipment and follow specific tiling patterns
• Accuracy, precision and work without supervision
