About the Role:
Responsible for designing, coordinating, and implementing comprehensive training programs that enhance employee skills, promote career development, and align with organizational goals. This role supports talent development and organizational growth by assessing training needs, delivering impactful learning solutions, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and evaluate training programs that address specific skill gaps and support career growth across the organization.
- Facilitate onboarding programs to ensure new hires integrate smoothly and understand company policies, procedures, and culture.
- Develop e-learning modules, workshops, and hands-on training sessions to provide diverse learning opportunities.
- Conduct regular assessments to identify skill gaps and training needs across departments in alignment with company goals and employee development plans.
- Gather feedback from managers, employees, and HR to ensure training programs are relevant and effective.
- Partner with managers and department heads to implement individual development plans for employees, focusing on skill enhancement and career progression.
- Provide coaching and guidance on best practices to support employee performance and professional growth.
- Track and report on the effectiveness of training programs by monitoring participation, engagement, and impact on employee performance.
- Utilize feedback to refine and improve training materials and delivery methods.
- Manage the training budget and ensure cost-effective solutions by negotiating with external training providers and optimizing internal resources.
- Prepare regular reports on training expenses and budget utilization.
- Ensure training programs comply with all internal policies and regulatory requirements, updating content to reflect changes in policies or procedures.
- Maintain accurate training records and documentation in line with company and legal standards.
- Keep current with industry trends, learning methodologies, and best practices in talent development.
- Innovate and incorporate new learning tools, techniques, and technology to enhance training delivery and engagement.
Who we’re Looking for:
- Diploma in Human Resource management or Business management is preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in human resource management or business management advantageous but not necessary
- Certificate 4 in Training & Assessment is preferred
- Familiar with iChris Payroll and HR System
- Know Labour Laws and Employment Act that governs Employment in PNG
- Have 3 – 5 working experiences in training, talent development, or a related HR role, with a proven track record of effective training program implementation.
- Ability to build relationships and work effectively across departments.
- Skilled in assessing training outcomes and identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Takes initiative in identifying development needs and proposing solutions.
- Strong presentation and facilitation skills.
- Ability to assess training needs and design programs tailored to different learning styles.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and project management skills.
