Position: Warehouse Storeman

Location: Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea

Employment Type: Full-time

Overview: TE (PNG) Ltd is seeking a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Storeman to join our team. The Storeman will be responsible for receiving, storing, and dispatching goods, maintaining inventory records, and ensuring warehouse operations run smoothly and efficiently. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive, unload, inspect, and store incoming goods and materials.
• Pick, pack, and prepare orders for dispatch according to company standards.
• Conduct regular stock checks and assist in inventory control.
• Ensure accurate record-keeping and documentation of goods in and out.
• Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely (if licensed).
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse area.
• Report any damaged or missing goods to supervisors promptly.
• Follow health and safety regulations and company procedures at all times.
• Assist with other general warehouse duties as required.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in a warehouse, logistics, or storeman role (preferred).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid forklift license (highly desirable).
• Good physical condition; ability to lift heavy items.
• Basic computer skills for stock management systems.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Knowledge of safety and manual handling procedures.
